Beginner BMX riders always wary of easy BMX tricks. BMX Tricks is one of the most exciting aspects of being a BMX rider. Nailing down some easy tricks is the best way to get started. BMX tricks easily lay the foundation for more advanced and complicated moves.
Start with the basic bunny hop, one of the easiest BMX tricks. While riding, lift the handle bars so the front wheel comes off the ground. While the wheels in the air, your body forward spoon to lift the back tire at the same time. Bunny hop is the purpose of having a second bike tire in the air together. A bunny hop is a basic step used in more advanced BMX tricks.
Another easy trick that provide basic skills is a no-hands. Simply start up with both hands on the bar. Remove one hand and, once you are stable, remove the other. Learning to ride without hands is important because a lot of tricks requires you to let go of the handle bars.
Traditional practice wheelies. When you're pedaling lift the front tires off the ground and continue to rise. Wheelies will help you build a sense of balance on the bike.
Try to nose wheelie. Instead of lifting your front tires off the ground, leaning forward and scoop your legs to lift the rear tires off the ground. Nose wheelies pretty easy BMX tricks but can be a little more difficult because you need to use the lower body strength to lift the rear wheels without the help of the handlebars.
Practice with manual balance, variation of the wheelie. Instead of pedaling through wheelie, your feet remain stationary and use pure momentum to keep the bike moving. Manual is more difficult than standard wheelies because you will not be able to use the pedal to keep the bike stable, but this easy trick will help you find a sense of balance to another trick.
Once you master the basic easy tricks like bunny hops, try more complex moves like a barspin. Once you are in your bunny hop, rotate the handle bars 360 degrees until they return to their initial position on your referrals. You can also do a bar spin off a small ramp instead of rabbit hop.
A simple variation on the barspin is x-up. Once you are in the air either from rabbits hop or jump street, crossing your arms so that they form the X and turn the handlebars backwards. Return the bar to the starting position before you land.
Bunny hop can also be used in the grinds on the curb or other surface. An easy trick is a basic double peg grind. Bunny hop and then landed on the sidewalk with two pegs on either side of the motor. A little bunny hop will let you down.
Brake tricks are easy to do, too. Endo done quickly lock the front brake and lean forward slightly so that the rear tires lifted off the ground. Do not lean too far because you can spill right over the handlebars.
A slightly more advanced brake trick called footjam a. Also called nosepick, in footjam, you position your body over the front wheels, while the bike is moving. Lift one leg of the lids and sliding (or butter) into the space between the wheel and fork metal on wheels so the bike stops. You will lift the rear tires off the ground and you can balance in the air or bounce on the front tire before removing the foot and landing.
